FAHRETTİN AYKUT ARCHITECTURE
FAAR [Fahrettin Aykut Area Responsibility] is a platform born in the late '90s during my academic journey, focusing on involving individuals in arts, design, and crafts from the outset, with a specific emphasis on the architectural field. Collaborating with artists in my workshop, we prioritize accurate analysis and original content creation. Whether it's designing a hotel, a coffee table, or a conceptual installation, our approach centers on content-driven design. We consider all factors simultaneously, including target audience, time, budget, and local values.

Within the FAAR brand, FAARi goes beyond decorative art, becoming a reference element intertwined with architecture. We also aim to empower artists and craftsmen, fostering their active participation in society and expanding channels for art production. Our current endeavors involve a mix of young and seasoned artists shaping our Çukurcuma gallery in Istanbul, alongside local craftsmen from across Turkey.

FAARi offers a collection of locally made, sustainable, and modern art design products to ensure their accessibility to a wider audience.

In Marvy, architect Fahrettin Aykut practiced an innovative organic architecture philosophy creating structures, that appeared to be part of their surroundings and flora.

"The most disturbing problem of the modern age is the loss of memory. I value the accumulation of knowledge greatly and I believe that we need to remember the past and respect the hidden treasures of the past. This is my main philosophy, and I enthusiastically realized this at Club Marvy valuing the local materials and applying the old techniques. For example, back in ancient times mosaics were an undeniable part of the Aegean culture. That's why we used mosaics all over the Club. At Club Marvy, you can say that our assertion is our naivety and thoughtfulness. It's a calm place. There is no exaggeration. There are plants, lean textures, earth tones, but when you look at the bigger picture Marvy is a purposeful, well-thought, respectful and naive place."
